Red Shoes.....

I bought Ava a pair of red patent leather shoes for her Christmas outfit. Well, she just can't get enough of them. She has worn them everyday since Christmas Day. I've snapped a few pics of her over the last week. She is just too much. I didn't take a pic of her today, but I should have. She had them on with her Jammies and wore them for the entire day, and she freaks when you have to change her diaper and take them off. I just love this little girl to pieces. She is a mini-me. Oh dear, I am in for some real trouble.

Ava was fascinated with Harry. I think because he was so small and different from our dog Jack.
I am so fortunate to still have my Grandmother with us. She is my last living grandparent, she is my Mother's Mom. The kids are so fortunate to have her and for us all to be making these sweet memories.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!

Ok, I know many of you have been anxiously waiting for the Christmas pics. I hope you all won't be too disappointed. There aren't too many good ones. I apologize for it taking me so long to sit down and do this. Let me first start off by saying that kids have all been sick. It started just before Christmas and they are just now getting back to normal. Whew!! It was a pretty exhausting week, and though I hate to say it..........I'm so glad it's over. Not much sleep for us in this house and Lots and lots of crying and whining. I don't want to sound like too much of a downer but I also don't like to sugar coat things. You all know I like to keep it real. The kids really did have a nice Christmas though and, thank you to all our friends and family for your generosity. Poor Daddy spent many nights this week on the couch with 1 or 2 of the kiddos, it's been pretty tough and we're exhausted and our nerves are shot. Who would have ever thought that 3 adorable 2 year olds could suck the life out of 2 adults in such a short time!!!!

This is how I found Scott, Ava and Chase on Christmas morning. On the couch.

AWeSoME GiNGerBReAD HoUSe!!!

Ta DaHH!!
Just getting started.

Ok, so maybe it's not awesome to you, but to me it's a work of art because it was done by my children......and well, maybe a little help from Mommy. Ok so a lot of help from Mommy. Either way the kids really enjoyed it, there was candy everywhere. Landon had fun eating the candy. Ava had fun pouring it from one bowl to the other, and Chase was actually the one who really got into it. They were really cute, and we had a lot of fun. Sunday we'll tackle the Gingerbread Tree Kit and some more cookies......until then, HO HO HO!!!!

Can I please have three of these for Christmas?

(Ok, so I stole this from another triplet blog, but itsn't it funny?)

(Hopefully all who see this will find the humor in it and not call CPS on me.)

Frosty Cookies............

Ok, so I cheated a little bit and bought the "cheater cookies" to make for the kids. I just got them because they were cute, and I knew the kids would love them. They call them "Frosty Cookies".

We may not be Jon & Kate plus 8 but...............

We do have a little boy named Landon......Lots of people ask me how the kids are doing with the tree, well, here it is. The large "wall" on the left is actually a wall made out of 2x4's and plexiglass. It was an extra that my FIL had made for the kids playroom area(it takes the place of gates you can see another one on the right). Then we made do with pieces of a play yard, Scott rigged it all together and....Ta DaHH! It works great for Ava and Chase, but of course Landon gets in on occasion, then he just passes out the ornaments to his brother and sister, on the other side.
Ava had her debut in the santa hat, so I thought it would only be fair to give the boys the same. Chase in the jammies and Landon below.
I can't forget the dog. Landon loves to hunt Jack down and put the antlers on him. Poor Jack, he is so tolerant.

Winter is here.............

We had our first real significant snowfall on Thursday the 13th. It had just started snowing here, it was about 9am.
And this was sometime in the afternoon.
And this, around 8pm.
I just LOVE Winter. My absolute favorite season. I love days like this.

Bad Hair Day.............

Ok, so I was playing with the kids on Saturday and decided to climb in the Thomas pop up tent with them. This is what I saw..............Crazy Hair!!!
Even Landon, couldn't figure out what the heck was wrong with Sissy's hair. Look at his face.
About this time Ava is wondering why everyone is staring at her, and she begins to look a little frightened. Landon is so amazed, he wants to touch it, but takes extreme caution!
Even the dog, Jack, is curious and has to sneak a peak at what all the fuss is about. It really was pretty funny.

Fun with Crayons, Markers and playdough!!

With winter upon us, the kids have been getting very antsy being stuck in the house, so we've been working on our art skills. Check us out!!
Chase, my smiley guy!
Landon(on the phone), multi-tasking, just like his mother!
Ava, working hard at her masterpiece!

For your listening pleasure.............

I now have music, so please turn up the volume if you haven't already! Enjoy!

Thank you Mom and Dad......

My inlaws treated the family with tickets to see the Radio City Christmas Spectacular. We had such a great time, well most of us did! It was a cold.....very cold, snowy day, but Scott and I didn't mind, we love the Winter. This was our first time to the show, and I can't wait for the triplets to be old enough to go. This was also the first time, in a looonnnng time, that Scott and I got away without the kids for an entire day. What a treat, we really needed it. Our day started off a little rocky, missing our train in(thanks to a crowded Dunkin Donuts), but we were able to catch the next one and just had to hurry to get to the theater. We enjoyed the show, then walked.....and walked........ and walked some more. There was some confusion with the plans, and some things didn't go accordingly, but we managed to work it out and everyone(well most of us!) had a good time. We did get to see the pathetic tree at Rockefeller Center. I can't believe how lame it is, so small. I was so disappointed. Oh well, who cares, it's just a tree. And the girls had a great time at the Amerian Girl Store. I can't wait to take Ava there.....makes me wish I was a little girl again. Although dolls weren't my sort of thing growing up, it really is such a great place. Overall, a good time was had and I look forward to doing it again next year.......minus the men(sorry guys!). Thanks again Mom and Dad.

After show fun!

After the show, when we walked out of the Theater, it was snowing. And oh so cold. I love that kind of weather, it was a nice touch to the day.
