~* Pumpkin Preview*~

I know, I know. They are pitiful. What happened to my "SKILLS". I promise, before kids, I had "SKILLS". I can remember carving pumpkins when I was much younger and never using a template or ever getting help from my parents. I would create some seriously cool Jack O Lanterns. Maybe I'm tired, or maybe I was rushed. Or wait, maybe these kids are sucking the life out of me, including the few CREATIVE brain cells that I have left. Either way, it doesn't really matter. I guess they could have been worse. I give myself an A+ for effort, and for the fact that they are even done. The kids had fun watching but they didn't really seem all that interested in getting too involved. After dinner I went outside and put candles in them so that the kids could see the finished product. They thought that was really cool. Thank God, they didn't even notice that my moon needs a nose job!!

There's a chill in the air.............

As the chill of Autumn hits us, so has the sad reality that our days outside playing for hours, are numbered. My kids are die-hards when it comes to outside. It was very chilly yesterday, and windy, even Daddy was whining about it. But the kids just kept going, although I'm not so sure that Ava was thrilled with the weather. I, absolutely love the cold. It's just a bummer that we'll all be couped up inside soon. Here are a few pics from yesterday.

I wonder who she gets this look from?!?!?
I think Ava and Daddy would have preferred to be inside. What do you think?

PS. Hey Keith, I know your stalking. Ha Ha, It's good to be in touch with you again.

Happy Birthday Pop!!

So my sister and I wanted to get a photo of the kids all together to give to our Dad for his 60th Birthday. We cringed at the thought of dragging them somewhere to have it done, so we just decided to do it at home. It's not wonderful, but it'll do.......and it Did!! My Dad loved it, and he was so proud of it. He adores his grandkids. He may not be what some say a "hands on" grandpa, but he'd move heaven and earth for them.
This weekend my Mom and my sister and I had a small get together for him at the Lake House. He was pleased to have everyone there. And he's so proud to be able to offer such a wonderful place for his family to make some Wonderful Memories. We all enjoyed ourselves, and I don't think the kids ever played so hard. We brought up there ride on cars, and tractors and the five of them rode around all weekend. They were thoroughly exhausted when we got home last night.HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD!
WE LOVE YOU.

ALL ABOARD!!!!!!!!

Saturday we loaded the kids up and picked Grandma B. up, and headed over to the Catskill Mountain Railroad http://www.catskillmtrailroad.com/. It was such a beautiful day and the kids really enjoyed themselves. I so enjoy finding different things for them to explore and have fun with. I think Landon enjoyed it the most. We may go back again with the cousins.

Just a few more...........

Here's what we walked away with. Very expensive pumpkins that we will cut and gut, throw a candle in, then watch them rot. I could have bought another pair of Uggs with the money we spent on that farm. Seriously though, I'm only kidding, but they were expensive for pumpkins, but whatever, it's all about the memories, right!
I just had to put this one on again in full view because I love it.

And I'm having too much fun playing around with these collages.I do want to add that these kids are growing up entirely too fast. Their vocabulary is insane, and I can not believe the difference in Chase in just one month of school. They are really playing well together, and having these full blown conversations amongst each other. Yes, yes we do have the occasional take downs, eye poking, biting, hair pulling, etc. . But really, they are so cute together, and I love to just sit and watch them and listen to them with each other. I feel like I need to carry a notepad with me, to write all of the "cute moments" down. I don't want to forget them, ever. Ava is our little mommy, I hear her scolding the boys quite often, word for word what she hears her mother say, LOL. And Landon, will call everyone on his "play" phone and share the daily happenings, like when Ava or Chase is being naughty. And Chase, he's a smart one. He mimicks both Scott and I. He likes to sit back and take it all in. I thought he would never talk, and now I can't get him to stop. It's been a rough few days at this house. I'm totally exhausted and I was ready to run away from home earlier. But as I sit and write this, it is a beautiful reminder of all the good, that comes with the bad. Raising triplets is an extreme sport and some days I totally feel like I'm losing, big time. This blog helps me stay focused and puts all things in a different light. Don't get me wrong, I will always keep it real.....when it's a good day, I'll tell ya it was a very good day, and when it's a bad day, I'll tell ya how ugly it was.

Good night!

Apples and Pumpkins everywhere.......

We had so much fun with the kids this weekend. We went to a great Farm, and picked tons of apples and pumpkins. I love taking the kids to simple places, just enjoying what mother nature gives us to love. As you can see I have been having some fun playing with the collages. I took tons of pics, but tried to narrow it down to the chosen few. Unfortunately, as usual, I'm in NONE of them.
In other news, I'm thrilled to say that I have found the perfect photographer. Her name is Melissa and she is from Surprise Photography. She is so awesome, her work is amazing. She is all booked until the end of the year, but I am sending out a deposit for the Spring. I can not wait. I'll post her blog on the right, with the rest of my favorites. Check her out.
