Hello Everyone. It's been a while since I last posted anything about us. We are all doing well. The kiddos are getting so big and so smart. They are talking so much, it amazes me. Chase just had a second set of tubes put in his ears this week. Poor little guy. He had gotten an ear infection back on New Years Eve, and apparently it created alot of yuckiness that clogged the tube. Both sides were nasty so the Doc just decided it best to put in another set and drain all the yuckies in his ears. Procedure went well and he's up and running!! We've had a busy fews weeks here, lots of outings and lots of fun.
Be sure to SCROLL DOWN for lots of new pics!! ENJOY!!

Please remember Super Princess Ava...............
A few days ago I stumbled across this site through another blog. I have been consumed by it since. The story of this little girl and the love that she brought to this world is simply beautiful. I am so touched by this story. Although I sit and cry when I visit it, I thank Ava's Mommy, Sheye, everyday for sharing Ava's legacy with the world. It is a simple reminder of how precious life is and to take not one thing for granted. Because of this Super Princess I will have more patience with my children and I will hug them and love them harder each and everyday.
Sweet Super Princess Ava, you will never be forgotten!!!
Please take a minute to visit her site, your heart will never be the same.........

Please Help......
WE have an Opportunity to help change the world....
...not just an opportunity but an obligation.. Please do this and forward on to everyone you know who has small child in their life...a recent e-mail from the Horns..
From the father of Charlie Horn (May 6, 2005 – November 1, 2007)
Recently my 2 ½ year old son Charlie was killed in a tragic accident at home. As his father, I struggle with the fact that I could have prevented his death.
A dresser merely 30” high fell on him and took his life. He was apparently climbing on the dresser like most inquisitive children will do. Had we secured this dresser to the wall, Charlie would still be with us today & his wonderful smile would still warm my heart.
We are not alone, approximately 20 children die and an estimated 8,000 -10,000 are injured each year from furniture/TV tip over accidents. Most of these are children under 5 years old.
My family’s pain is indescribable…however an opportunity now exists for Charlie’s story to help others.
There is a bill which has been referred to the House Committee on Energy and Commerce in the 1st session of the 110th Congress, and we need your help.
The Bill: HR 4266 – The Katie Elise & Meghan Agness Bill - Formerly HR Bill 1861,it has been recently re-introduced as HR 4266 by Rep. Allyson Schwartz. This bill would require any furniture or electronic appliances in jeopardy of tipping bear a warning label alerting consumers to the potential dangers of unsecured furniture. In addition, this furniture would be required to come packaged with anchoring devices and simple installation instructions, so it can be safely secured to wall studs.
To read the entire bill, please click here: http://thomas.loc.gov/cgi-bin/query/z?c110:H.R.4266:
I am pleading for everyone who gets this e-mail forwarded to them to do two things:
1) Sign the petition: http://www.where-to-turn.org/petition_hr1861.phpThis will take 1 minute of your time and will greatly help. (This is the former bill # bu it still is the appropriate place to sign the petition)
2) Contact your congressman, with an e-mail or phone call. Ask them to sign on as a Co-sponsor for HR bill 4266. If you don’t know who your congressman is or how to contact them just click here to find out: http://www.rallycongress.com/letter2congress/698/?gclid=CKCJ2LihkpACFQe0Hgod8l8Qhw
Accidents happen & I don’t expect legislation to completely solve this problem;but it will help, and I am confident that it will save lives of other children.
If you have children or grandchildren – Please secure your furniture & TV’s to the wall. You can fix a hole in the wall…but you can’t fix a hole in your heart.
-Trust meBrett Horn
P.S. I have debated sending this e-mail out for some time and just can’t wait any longer, as I heard of the fourth child who died from a TV or piece of furniture falling over in the past 2 months! PLEASE forward this e-mail to anyone who will help.
Thank you to Stef (http://triple-take.blogspot.com/) for posting this on her blog...I encourage eveyone to do the same. Please help get the message out!!

Family Pic...
Just thought I'd share the family pic that I had done for the Holidays. I was very disappointed with the photographer. The kids individual pics did not come out good. I spent alot of money for what I thought were JCPenny quality pics. I know I'm hard to please, and the pics aren't that bad. But I've yet to find someone that will "step out of the box" and give me awesome pics.

FINALLY.................
A moment to post some photos and give some updates. Whew......I am exhausted. The boys were up bright and early today, 5:30am. Ava is usually our sleeper, and she wasn't up until about 8am. I was able to shower before Scott went to work, which left me their naptime to do some blogging. Everyone is well here. Some runny noses, but that's it. Thank goodness. The kids are doing great. They are getting so big and growing up so fast before our eyes. Landon is still our Leader, with Ava close behind, followed by Chase. Ava and Landon seem to be best buddies these days. You rarely see them apart, Ava definitely follows Landon's lead... Monkey see, Monkey do. Chase still does his own thing, but I'm noticing that he is trying to interact with them more.
Some specs:
Chase: Daddy's little buddy. Loves eating scrambled eggs with Daddy and Loves watching Elmo and running through the house. He's still our best eater. And loves his brother and sister and his big cousin Peyton. Watch out, if you make him mad the fangs come out and he'll draw blood(not really, but he is our biter). He's still alittle behind with his speech, but we're not worried. Chase always does things on his own terms and in his own good time. I call him our little professor.
Landon: This big guy is still the leader, and is very much in love with his binky. He loves his sister and never wants to be apart from her. He also loves elmo and "Roni" aka macaroni and cheese. Landon's vocabulary has really taken off. He amazes me everyday, he is so smart. He also loves to help Mommy and Daddy around the house. He loves music and playing with his tools.
Ava: This young lady is full of spunk. She loves her Mama and Daddy and her brothers. She is doing well with her vocabulary and loves to follow her brother Landon's lead. She is very much a girly girl. Don't touch her pink blanky or her pink sippy cup!!!! She also loves her tonka truck and is not afraid to role with the tough guys. Elmo is still her idol and she loves eating her snacks.
